My first Indian wedding

Last weekend, my room mate Paddy took us all to Erode to see the wedding of one of his friends. It was a very traditional south indian wedding, as in it was very spiritual and traditional in nature and the bride and groom were apart of an arranged marriage. Below is a photo of us outside the hall where the wedding was held, in our traditional indian dress.....Kurtas, lungis and saris.

from back to front, left to right there is:
Paddy, Sebastian, Stefan, me, Martine,
Eeling and Ola.

This is us with the bride and groom the night before the wedding.

After the wedding we headed to a hill station just outside of Salem for a bit of site seeing. It was an absolutely georgous hill station and so green.Anyway, thats just a small snippet of our trip, but the coming weekends are already planned with trips away. So stay tuned for more adventures of me and my house travelling around Southern India.

hey mate, good to see you're having a blast!

Yeah i remember Indian weddings, they're pretty interesting, especially when you compare it with an Australian wedding.

I'm not sure if Gujrati weddings are any different, but I had a great time!

Have a great time mate, see you back in Oz!
